The Thunder’s Kevin Durant and the Thunder itself, have each donated $1 million to the American Red Cross for disaster relief following the tornadoes, Red Cross officials said today.

There’s an unconfirmed report that Russell Westbrook has made a similar donation.

The Oklahoman reports that Durant on Monday encouraged his Twitter followers to text “REDCROSS” to 90999 for $10 donations to help tornado victims.

He also posted a supportive message onto his social networking account.

“Praying for the victims of the tornadoes in OKC the last few days..Everybody stay safe!” Durant wrote.
