Matt McKay Joins Lankford As Field Representative

6.3.13_Matt_McKayCongressman James Lankford announced today that Field Representative Matthew J. McKay has joined his Oklahoma City district office.

“I am proud to welcome Matt McKay to serve as Field Representative in our Oklahoma City office,” said Lankford.

 

 

“Mr. McKay’s military service, academic background and professional experience will undoubtedly guide him to ensure quality service for all communities of the Fifth District. As he embarks on his new role, he will continue to diligently serve our friends and neighbors across central Oklahoma. 

 

 

“I’m delighted to welcome Matt to this vital role in our office,” Lankford added.  “As you see him in the community, let him know how we can help you and your family at the federal level.

 

 

“We look forward to his contributions to our community,” Lankford concluded.

 

 

McKay grew up in the Philippines and Germany. His parents were missionaries with the Southern Baptist Convention for 15 years. McKay finished high school in Alabama after his father, Roy L. McKay, became a pastor in the United States. In December 2005, McKay received his B.S. in Political Science from Mississippi State University. After college McKay enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was accepted to Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Pensacola, Florida, where he received his commission as a Naval Officer in July 2007.
