Congressman John Sullivan of Tulsa is feeling the heat today after saying during a Bixby town hall meeting that the only way to get a budget through the Senate is by “me going over there with a gun and pointing it to their head and maybe killing a couple of ’em….”
The remarks were reported by the blog Talking Points Memo and soon, other national media outlets were reporting it.
Sullivan’s apology followed those reports.
