With the RNC Executive Committee, in their Spring Meeting, passing an anti-Common Core Resolution and a rising tide of both “Blue and Red” states turning against Federal intrusions into local and state control of Education, coupled with Oklahoma’s own battles with top-down control…I’d say this Inhofe-Coburn repudiation is the impetus needed for Oklahoma to finally put the nail in the coffin of implementing CCSS. It IS the RIGHT thing to do. The BIG winners of CCSS will not be our kids.
