It happens after every disaster: While rescuers are still searching for victims, some start demanding to know why streets aren’t cleaned yet and why everything responders know hasn’t yet been made public.
Spare me. Spare us.
While there are hundreds of debris piles that once were homes yet to be thoroughly searched, while the odds of finding more bodies goes up, while there’s poor communication…it is time to wait for answers.
From parents and loved ones, we understand the anxiousness; those on the outside, including the news media, need to put a lid on it.
