Scott Esk Seeks GOP Nod In HD91

Staff

Republican Scott Esk says he’s a candidate for the Republican nomination for the House District 91 seat to be vacated next year by Rep. Mike Reynolds, who is term-limited.

Esk, a computer programmer at the Department of Public Safety and a “constitutional activist,” describes himself as conservative.

Esk writes that, if elected, he will refuse to endorse any federal dictate to the state. He is pro-life and wants to cut state spending.

He applauds Reynolds for his service and indicates his positions are similar to those of Reynolds.

Esk has been active in his church and has live in the district for 12 years, he said.

Dr. Jon Painter also is an announced candidate for the GOP nomination.
