Shannon Names David Rainbolt To Judicial Panel

House Speaker T.W. Shannon is pleased to announce the appointment of BancFirst Corporation CEO David Rainbolt to the Oklahoma Judicial Nominating Commission.

The purpose of the commission is to make recommendations to the Governor for judge or justice positions if a vacancy occurs. Rainbolt will fill a current position on the board immediately and will serve until December 31, 2014.

“Mr. Rainbolt has a proven track record as a successful businessman and leader in Oklahoma,” said Speaker Shannon, R-Lawton. “He is a man of high ethical standards, and his knowledge concerning the issues the people of Oklahoma face will give valuable input into the judicial appointment process in the event of a vacancy.”

Rainbolt has served as the Chief Executive Officer for BancFirst since 1992 and the Chief Operating Officer of Shawnee Bank since 2003. He is currently the Director of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma. Rainbolt holds a B.B.A in Finance from University of Oklahoma and earned an M.B.A. from Tulane University.
