House Speaker-designate T. W. Shannon was honored Monday evening in Washington at a reception hosted by four Republicans in the congressional delegation and other Oklahomans working in Washington.
Those issuing invitations to the event included Senator Jim Inhofe, Congressmen Tom Cole, Frank Lucas and James Lankford, former Governor Frank Keating, George Baker, Leslie Belcher, Denise Bode, John Bode, Steve Hart, Mike Hunter, Clinton Key, Tracy Key, Pete Kirkham, Wilson Pipestem, Craig Purser and Rick Shelby.
The “Meet And Greet Reception” was held at the Williams & Jensen Townhouse.
