Senator Tom Coburn will be honored in April by the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs.
Dr. David R. Brown, founder and chairman of OCPA, said today, “It is with great pleasure I announce the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs’ 2014 Citizenship Award recipient. This year, we will honor Dr. Tom Coburn, U.S. Senator, at our annual Citizenship Award Dinner on Thursday, April 3, at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.
“I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Coburn while he served on OCPA’s board of trustees, and he is extremely deserving of this award. Dr. Coburn is an outstanding citizen and servant to Oklahoma and the nation.
