Lankford Slams Obama Indecision

Congressman James Lankford said today that President Obama “can’t seem to make a decision” on the Keystone XL pipeline.

Lankford’s remarks came after the Obama Administration announced it would extend its comment period for the pipeline and further delay the project, which has already been stalled for more than five years:

“The President can’t seem to make a decision, even after more than five years. This is just like Obamacare, where all hard decisions have been postponed until after elections. This decision is not hard.”

As of today, TransCanada has waited 2,037 days and counting for the Obama Administration to approve the permit for the northern leg of the Keystone XL pipeline. Construction of the southern leg of the pipeline, which begins in Cushing, OK, is already complete, and that portion of the pipeline is operational.
