Tea Party’s Bachmann, Lankford At Tulsa Event

UPDATE: Lankford’s office said today the event has been postponed.

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Congressman James Lankford will speak together on policy solutions for the nation during Bachmann’s visit to Oklahoma Friday.

“I am grateful that Michele Bachmann will be in Tulsa this week and it is important that while she is here we address real issues facing our country. Michele and I have worked together to push conservative solutions in the House and I am glad to have her in our state,” Lankford said.

Bachmann and Lankford will address Oklahomans as a part of a community event hosted by Families for James Lankford. The event will be Friday, May 2, in the parking lot of Victory Christian Center, 7700 S Lewis Ave, Tulsa, OK, from 5pm to 7pm.

“It is important that we are digging into the serious issues facing our country including fighting for answers regarding IRS targeting and answers from the Administration regarding Benghazi, replacing the President’s failed health care plan and creating a plan to get our country back into financial balance. Friday is going to be a great family time and opportunity to all join together in discussion about the real issues.” Lankford concluded.

Bachmann is scheduled to be in Tulsa to speak at the Oral Roberts University commencement ceremony.
