Video: Douglas Attacks Russell, Russell Says It Is ‘Slander’

Corporation Commissioner Patrice Douglas has a new television commercial attacking 5th District opponent Steve Russell.

The commercial criticizes Russell, former state senator, for several events over which there has been much discussion, and much difference of opinion.

Russell, writing on Facebook, says “the slander has begun today.”

Except for the dats when the corporation commission now doesn’t meet so that Patrice Douglas can run for office. I believe the paycheck stays the same though.

We are family… I got all my sisters with me….

    Bareesi.
    Douglas.

No class, Patty, but not unexpected. This happens when you really don’t have much to work with.

Shows up for what? She wouldn’t show up for debates until they almost had to drag her to them. Shows up? She showed up in February at Corporation Commission to announce she was changing their meetings from 5 times a week to 2, while still getting paid the same. I’ll bet she shows up at fundraisers, when the State Chamber beckons, or the guys in the tall buildings downtown call her.

People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, or mud in this case:

This is really funny! Whoever is running her campaign must be getting their advice from Laurel and Hardy. If you’ll notice when video gets to about :13 or :14 seconds along, she’s telling the other lady “I’m so bad at this”. Like George Bush senior used to say, “read my lips”. Read her lips. She’s right. She’s so bad at this, it’s borderline incompetence. Thanks for the laugh Patrice. We still don’t want you to represent us, no matter how funny you are.
