Dan Ramsey Joins Agents Alliance

The Oklahoma Agents Alliance (OAA), a Master Agency of the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIIA) working in partnership with independent insurance agencies in Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas, announced today that Dan Ramsey, former 16-year president and chief executive officer of the Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma, has joined OAA as an agency mentor. Prior to his IIAO tenure, Ramsey owned an independent insurance agency in Chickasha and also served two terms in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

“OAA chief executive officer and founder Tony Caldwell said, “Having someone of Dan’s experience and expertise will play an integral role in mentoring our member agencies in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kansas and assisting their growth and development. I am honored he has chosen to join the OAA team.”

OAA is one of 50 master agencies in the United States who are participating members in the SIAA, a nationwide network of more than 4,500 independent agents who write in excess of $5 billion worth of insurance annually. OAA’s 100 independent member agencies sell nearly $200 million in homeowners, auto and commercial insurance annually.

OAA was formed in 2001 to offer local independent agents the ability to remain independent, gain new markets and generate additional income without the need to sell, merge or cluster.  Since the program began, OAA has helped many of its members start their own agencies.  OAA members receive higher compensation than agencies of similar size through their membership.  As one of the largest property and casualty sales organizations in the region, OAA and its members have unrivaled access to the best insurance carriers in the country.
