Video: Brecheen Takes The Hardballs

A new video defends Senator Josh Brecheen against attacks on him by the State Chamber of Commerce, AFL-CIO and the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association in the District 6 race in which he is being challenged by Joe Hill:

In SD6, we vote for Josh Brecheen. Stand for Children – go back to Chicago where people will put up with your lies.

Speak for yourself DemNoMore. Anyone who has higher than a 3rd grade reading level has done their research on this guy and knows Brecheen needs to go.

    Go get em Joe!

Why does Josh need to go? Are you a leftist?

  4. Bob, 17 October, 2014

Nope. I’m a Republican. I just want to see some progress at Point Vista and a Senator who returns calls and shows up. Is that too much to ask? I don’t support putting someone into the lead position of tourism, when a jewel at Lake Texoma has been left untouched for his entire term.

I also don’t appreciate his style. Using the pulpit as a way to round up votes isn’t the kind of world I want to live in.

I took my grandkids to a parade 2 weeks ago and instead of candy, my little ones were handed unwanted yard signs. Dozens littered the streets after the parade was over.

I voted for Josh last time. I won’t make the same mistake twice.

Stand for Children, The US Chamber of Commerce, AFL-CIO are all big money, out of state, special interest groups trying to keep Common Core in Oklahoma. Brecheen has the support of the people. I’ll stick with the people, not the AFL-CIO.

  6. Denise CH, 17 October, 2014

I see this race as a benchmark for lobbyists and associations flexing their muscles. State Chamber, AFL-CIO, OIPA, Farm Bureau and more. They are all very active at the Capitol. Josh did not support ALL of their agenda. This is an effort to remove Josh but to also make it clear to other legislators that if you do not stand with us on issues we will take you out. This is going to be a very telling election.

  7. Seymour, 17 October, 2014

Anyone supporting Joe “Bought” Hill should make sure you have the same agenda as the AFL-CIO, State Chamber and OIPA.. you can bet your sweet @$$ that with the money they have poured into Joe “Boughts” campaign, he is absolutely going to be doing their bidding… so, make sure those are the ideas you want brought into Oklahoma before you trash our conservative values and vote for someone who will not be able to vote other than how he is told and paid to vote. Talk about corruption that will probably put J. Paul Gumm to shame, get ready!

  8. Hutch, 19 October, 2014

Josh alone did not stop Common Core. Josh also each year has filed a bill that would promote unconstitutional religious creationism into public school science courses as every Federal Court has ruled. Not one of these bills won approval for a hearing from the Senate Education Committee, chaired by and ruled by a majority of Republicans. Fortunately, his fellow party members are wiser than he is. He must learn at a slow pace or is very uneducated on the laws that govern us. VOTE Hill for a moderate who understands the REAL needs for education and other areas that Oklahoma needs – we are tired of being at the bottom. Brecheen’s approach will keep us there.
