Murphy Elected President Of Power Pool Panel

Corporation Commissioner Dana Murphy has been elected president of the Regional State Committee (RSC) of the Southwest Power Pool (SPP).  Her term takes effect in January 2015.  Commissioner Murphy has served as the Oklahoma representative on the RSC since October 2011 and previously served as the vice president of the RSC.

The SPP is a regional electric transmission organization compromised of members in nine states. The RSC is composed of utility commissioners who provide state regulatory input and participation in numerous relevant subjects, including funding related to transmission across the footprint of the SPP, transmission upgrades and enhancement, and resource adequacy.
