Why would we borrow money, pay interest and fees on the money, just so the education establishment (both public education and higher education) can scream for more money? The one thing our Oklahoma constitution was written to do is force legislators to have a balanced budget every year, not be borrowing money, but through responsible spending.
This idea sounds like Wimpy (Popeye’s friend) who always wants a hamburger today and promising to pay you for it tomorrow. No thanks!!!!
