Quite possibly the greatest senator Oklahoma has ever sent to Washington. He will be sorely missed. I remember hearing him speak to a local chamber of commerce. He didn’t promise them gifts; he promised them good governance and care with the public fisc. Seemed to confuse and bewilder some of them, though many understood him.

If he is the greatest of all time why didn’t he vote yes or no on the cromnibus budget bill. He was a no show he makes a big farewell address about taxpayers and then lets that bill pass without voting.

Sen. Coburn also gave Obama a parting gift by voting for his nominee, Ms. Saldana to head ICE. She thinks the illegals flooding the border and staying on the taxpayer’s dime is just great.
