Social Media: What Linda Murphy Said On Facebook…

So many lies about this bill -HB 1380 AP History. People saying what the intent is, which has nothing to do with anything written or spoken about the bill by the author. Winston Churchill said — “A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.”

There seems to be a lot of ‘rewrites’ and claims of ‘misunderstanding’ concerning a lot of legislation introduced this year. Fisher, Kern, Murphy (not the good Murphy) among others appear to be victims of a couple of possible handicaps:

    1. They don’t have a decent comprehension of the English language in order to express exactly what they mean in the legislation. Perhaps a course in basic English followed by an AP English class would help them get it right the first time.

    2. They decided to withdraw to bill due to ‘bad timing’, ‘bad publicity’, bad etc. Perhaps they are letting public opinion determine what they think is right, which makes one think maybe they don’t stand behind their oratory.

Either way, we the public benefit from these political retreats. Multiple lawsuits will be avoided by placing these proposals where they belong.

Maybe we all would best be served if politicians would:

1.) Get the heck out of Education altogether; I don’t see anywhere in the U.S. Constitution where We the People gave the government authority over the education of our children…

2.) Leave the writing and teaching of history to those who have devoted their lives and careers to studying it from primary sources instead of letting liberal, Ivy League educated progessives rewrite history to fit their agenda’s through programs like “common core”. This does nothing more than “dumb-down” our kids making it easier for the liberal elite to push class warfare in their march toward socialism and global domination.
