I like tax cuts and teachers but this just seems a little . . . odd. We have a burgeoning shortage of nurses too, equally low paid. Why not a tax cut for them? And for all the other categories of low-paid people. Hey! I’ve got it! How about doing away with the income tax for everyone!

Why does Chairman Weston act like his hand-picked Executive Committee is the policy-making authority of the OKGOP?
This type of policy statement should come from the larger State Committee of the OKGOP.
This is probably a good bill, but this claim of party authority does not reside in the advisory group referred to as the Executive Committee.
There is a huge difference and Weston is perverting the power structure of the OKGOP by releasing this position statement without calling the OKGOP State Committee together for a proper authorization.

The smoke and mirrors about any technical problems performing the deductions is pure bs. It is easier do make those deductions along with the thousands of other deductions than it is to exclude a few special accounts. Jason Murphy would know how this works.

Teachers are not required to pay union dues. This is just malicious personal agendas against teachers and unions in general.
