Thursday night, we reported: “Sources told The McCarville Report late Thursday that votes on the Patriot Act have been scheduled for Friday in the U. S. Senate and those votes will require Cruz, Graham, and Rubio, as well as other senators, to be in Washington.”
Friday morning, The Okie reported: “He is still scheduled to speak and his transportation from Washington D.C. has been secured. It was falsely reported late last night by unconfirmed media reports that Senator Cruz had pulled out of the Gala.”
Friday afternoon, the SRLC reported: “…Rafael Cruz (the senator’s father) and Ben Carson will be speaking at tonight’s gala (in place of the senator).”
