State officials, historic preservation experts and construction workers on Wednesday will demonstrate trial repairs that are underway on the exterior of the State Capitol.
Reporters, videographers and photographers will be given access to scaffolding to observe workers using tools to grind out faulty mortar, testing stain removal methods, inspecting damaged windows, identifying water infiltration and assessing other damage to the exterior of the Capitol building.
NOTE: Access to scaffolding requires proper attire and footwear. Please wear pants and flat, closed-toe shoes. Safety vests and hard hats will be provided.
