ALEXANDRIA, VA – The National Foundation for Women Legislators announced today the Co-Chairs of the 2015 NFWL Annual Conference September 11 – 15, 2015 in Oklahoma City.

NFWL is the nation’s oldest organization addressing the needs of elected women at all levels of government. The Annual Conference attracts elected women from across the United States for educational, policy and leadership sessions.

The 2015 Conference Co-Chairs will be NFWL State Director Representative Pam Peterson, NFWL Board Member Tribal Legislator Dean McManus, Senator AJ Griffin, Senator Stephanie Bice, Senator Kay Floyd, Senator Anastasia Pittman, Representative Leslie Osborn, Commissioner Dana Murphy and Speaker Pro-Tempore Lee Denney.

Elected women from across the country will gather in Oklahoma City for NFWL’s Annual Conference to identify effective solutions to some of the nation’s most timely and pressing issues. Providing a non-partisan environment that encourages dialogue and the sharing of information and experiences, women leaders are able to build coalitions, share the concerns of their constituents, and identify out-of-the-box solutions to the most pressing issues facing their communities today.

Representative Pam Peterson, NFWL’s State Director, said “This is the first time NFWL has had their annual conference in the central part of the United States, and we’re thrilled they chose Oklahoma.”  She went on to say, “This is a great opportunity to network with elected women from across the country to share and discuss policy ideas.”

“I am so delighted to announce these nine Oklahoma elected women as our 2015 Conference Co-Chairs,” stated New Jersey Senator Diane Allen, NFWL’s Chair. “NFWL genuinely appreciates each of their efforts in promoting and building our conference so it will be the best one yet!”
