~ Tuesday’s story about legislators calling for the impeachment of Oklahoma Supreme Court justices was our most-read story of the day. The impeachment call came after the Court ruled that the 10 Commandments monument can’t stand on the Capitol grounds.

~ The House District 85 Republican primary is shaping up to be an interesting one. Qualified candidates, each with a following. Who’s ahead several weeks before the vote? Chip Carter and Ralph Crawford, seems to me, likely have advantages now. But I don’t count anyone out at this point. Crawford’s been extremely active and Carter just picked up Senator Jim Inhofe’s endorsement. Crawford has the endorsement of longtime Inhofe ally Bunny Chambers, among the most influential of Republican stalwarts; she is President of the Oklahoma Eagle Forum and previous GOP National Committeewoman for Oklahoma. Crawford also has the endorsement of the Oklahoma Second Amendment Association (OK2A).
