Fallin On Hand To Open Tulsa Macy’s Fullfillment Center

fallinofficialThe largest Macy’s – Bloomingdale’s Fullfillment Center opened this week in Tulsa County, west of Owasso. The Tulsa World reports Governor Fallin was on hand for the dedication of the two million square feet facility.

“Oklahoma really is becoming a great attraction not only to local companies, small businesses and entrepreneurs but certainly to major, Fortune 500 companies,” Fallin said.

The newspaper story reports the facility cost $170 million. It employs 450 people and growing. During the holiday season, the facility will hire an additional 1,000 workers.
