Senator David Holt, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, says Chairman Anthony Sykes hasn’t explained why a hearing on civil asset forfeiture reform has been scheduled at a remote Tulsa police facility.
“Senator Sykes has been non-responsive to my request for an explanation,” Holt told The McCarville Report.
Yesterday, Senator AJ Griffin of Guthrie, also a committee member, told TMR she is “perplexed” by the site selection.
TMR asked Sykes for an explanation early this week; there has been no response.
