For the record, I am a Ron Paul supporter and have been actively volunteering for him for some time, as well as contributing to him.

Although much of the time Saturday Steve Dickson and I disagreed, I was very impressed with his professional attitude. I do agree with many of Ron Paul’s viewpoints, but overall I support other candidates more. However someone like Steve Dickson would represent Paul better than Al Gerhart. Dickson’s attitude would get more people to listen to Paul’s ideas and bring more respect from others.

Thank you for your kind words. It was very nice to meet you as well, and I look forward to working with you in the immediate future to both unite the GOP and elect those who will advance our platform. Together we will grow the party, joining experience and enthusiasm. I think there are several people who would be excellent spokesmen/leaders for the Paul campaign, who share my approach of respect for the party, with polite disagreement when called for.

In the end, it is the forces of statism led by Obama we must defeat.

Al Gerhart’s demeanor at the Oklahoma County Republican Committee meeting on Saturday was reprehensible. I am not a Ron Paul supporter and, in order to advance the campaign of my chosen candidate, I hope that Al becomes the much larger face of the Ron Paul campaign.

BUT, I hope that efforts to get him to go away are successful because he is associated with the GOP and he’s just awful at helping the party grow. Anyone in their right mind who attended the convention and saw how he operated, would not want to experience that again.

He lied when he said that 40 people had been denied credentials. Most of the 13 of them were denied because we could not establish, using 4 sources, that they were registered Republicans on the day of the precinct meetings.
