Fallin Suggests New Plan to Bridge $1.3 Billion Budget Gap

Governor Fallin revealed a path which could lead to a bridge over the $1.3 billion budget gap.

The Oklahoman’s Rick Green covered the Governor’s press conference where details of the plan were released. Fallin has a set of proposals which don’t need a supermajority to help fund state government next year. The new budget proposal includes funding increases for the Education Department, Health Care Authority, the Human Services Department, and the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Department.
