In order to inject themselves into the state budget process, House Democrats are planning on holding their own “bipartisan budget negotiations” on Tuesday. The stunt invites Governor Fallin, House Speaker Jeff Hickman, Senate President Pro Tem Brian Bingman, House and Senate Appropriation Committee Chairs, the media and the public.
An agenda was not provided for the meeting which will be held at 1pm in State Capitol Room 419-C.
House Democrats led by Minority Leader Scott Inman have often complained about being left out of the budget process.
