The Tulsa World‘s Randy Krehbiel writes two local documentary and current event programs have been canceled while the Oklahoma News Report could be on the chopping block.

There are lot on national OETA programs such as Lawrence Welk should not push our local programming aside. Programs such as ONR provide much more quality information than the Antique Road Show. The ‘Boom, Bust, and Bomb’ broadcast is a prime example of the state will miss if the funds local broadcast . are cut

If we allowed politicians to show their political ads for free on OETA then the funding crisis would disappear.

Lets change the programing to what most local media stations have……a lil news and weather, weather, weather, weather and endless SELF promotion, and no information.

We had a damn good local news program at 6:00pm that provided the most informative local coverage compared to the regular networks. The last funding cut killed that program. Stop the killing in order to prevent us becoming MSM morons.

Can you get rid of Gwen Ifel????????

  6. Vernon Woods, 15 June, 2016

Can’t do – she’s national, therefore untouchable. Only our locals get the ax.
