State Chamber Endorses Najera, Kidd for Senate

The State Chamber of Commerce threw its support by two candidates on Friday. Chris Kidd is running for Senate District 31 in the Lawton area, while Miguel Najera is running for Senate District 21 in the Stillwater area.

The Chamber said that both candidates are champions for Oklahoma businesses.

Najera said he looked forward to working with the Chamber.

“Small businesses play a role in making Payne County a great place to live, work and raise a family,” said Najera. “As a state we need to make sure the government isn’t crippling businesses with regulation but instead cutting the red tape so they can thrive.”

Kidd said he would like to see business facing less restrictive regulation.

“Small business owners need to be given the freedom to innovate and not be stifled with undue red tape,” said Kidd. “The response to a business-friendly climate is a thriving economy and significant job growth. If elected, I look forward to working alongside our small businesses to make Oklahoma a sought-after state to live, work and raise a family.”
