Pollard To GOP Candidates: ‘Be professional’

pollardnewRepublican State Chairman Pam Pollard has a few words for GOP candidates who are playing nasty as next week’s primary approaches.

In an email, she writes:

Fellow Republicans,

Early in-person voting starts today at your County Election Board. The Oklahoma Republican Party reminds its members to go out and vote to support the Republican candidates. For locations of your County Election Boards, click here.

The OKGOP encourages its party members to embody the words of President Ronald Reagan, “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.”

In next Tuesday’s primary election, and each election to come, we must stand together as Republicans. The primary focus must be on rallying support and the uniting of the party.

Chairman Pollard admonished, “The campaigns and the candidate interactions should be professional at all times and supportive of other Republican candidates.  Not only must we, as Republicans, stand together but we should be amiable towards fellow party members.”

On Wednesday June 29, the day after primary elections in Oklahoma, the Republican Party will launch its state wide Victory and Get Out the Vote program.
