Sharp Lands Perfect Score in RIED Economic Development Report

For the second time in three sessions, the Research Institute for Economic Development (RIED) has given Senator Ron Sharp a perfect score in its annual report. The RIED Report grades legislators on key economic development issues.

“Economic development, business and job creation continue to be a focal point of the majority of the Oklahoma legislature,” said Susan Winchester, RIED president. “During his first term in office, Senator Sharp has consistently supported Oklahoma’s businesses and worked hard to create jobs in Oklahoma. I appreciate his deep belief in creating a stronger state economy during his legislative service.”

RIED said it had 13 senators and 13 representatives achieved perfect scores for the recently ended legislative session. Scores of 70 or higher is considered a passing score.
