Pruitt Calls School Transgender Rule Injunction First Step

An injunction against the Obama Administration’s school transgender guidance rule gains the praise of Attorney General Scott Pruitt. He’s part of a 13-state coalition as a federal court to block and throw out the guidance which defines sex as “gender identity.”

“This injunction is the first step to preventing the Obama administration from holding hostage every single school district, nationwide. The executive fiat passed down by the Department of Education and Department of Justice threatened the Title IX funding that Oklahoma schools, as well as all others across the nation, depend on. The thinly veiled threat is first and foremost unlawful, as we will continue to prove in court,” said Pruitt.

The guidance letter outlined if schools did not allow students access to restrooms or locker rooms of their gender identity, those schools could lose federal funds. The injunction was handed down late Sunday.

The fact that this nonsense ever got this far should be a loud, resounding “wake-up call” to every citizen of this nation. I know that I’m preaching to the choir by saying this on McCarville Report, but when you consider just how close we were to totally unhinging our entire nation; throwing out ANY semblance of normalcy; and sacrificing our children on the altar of this bizarre, idiotic, twisted gender ideology, it makes you want to scream “Wake up, people—elections have SERIOUS consequences!” Just because it might seem cool to have a black president or it might seem chic to have a woman in the White House (or whatever….) doesn’t mean you just ignore everything an individual stands for and put him or her into office. This country has paid a terribly high price for making that mistake already—I hope to God we’ve learned our lesson as a nation.
