Fallin Names Mike Fuller as Oklahoma Works Regional Leader

Governor Fallin names Pryor businessman Mike Fuller to the Oklahoma Works Key Economic Network (KEN) regional leader. The program is meant to support efforts to enhance education, workforce and job creation initiatives.

Fuller was named to lead the northeast region of Oklahoma. He’s the General Manager of American Castings. He’ll be tasked to help build partnerships and lead efforts to align education and workforce to meet that region’s needs.

“We are so thankful for our Oklahoma Works partners, particularly the KEN champions across the state, for their leadership and willingness to collaborate to better connect job-seekers to the skills and job opportunities in high demand industries,” said Fallin.

The Oklahoma Works program is being used as a means to provide the right kind of education and training as workforce demands change.

“The premise of Oklahoma Works is simple. Our state is a national leader in economic growth, but we do not have enough skilled workers to meet the workforce demands of our companies,” said Fallin. “Put simply, we are not creating the kind of workforce we need to attract and retain the high quality, good paying jobs necessary for Oklahoma’s future.”
