A-F School Grade Report Card Changes Going Into Place Despite No Federal Requirement

Despite no longer being required by federal education regulators, the Oklahoma Department of Education will continue forward with its revision of the A-F schools grade card system. The Tulsa World‘s Andrea Eger writes State Superintendent Joy Hofmeister is overseeing the process of puttingĀ the accountability improvements required by House Bill 3218 into practice.

    What?!? You mean we can do something without being told to by the Feds? I’m aghast.
    But I’m also really in favor of keeping the A-F system, and indeed I like the current way of determining it.
