Inhofe Confident Congress Will Approve State/Tribal Water Agreement

It’s been a few weeks since Governor Fallin, the Chickasaw Nation and the Choctaw Nation announced an agreement to settle a lawsuit over water rights in southeast Oklahoma. Before the settlement can go into place, it must first be approved by Congress. The Oklahoman‘s Chris Casteel writes Senator Jim Inhofe believes the deal will make it through Congress before the end of the year.
