Statement by Senator David Holt regarding Oklahoma City mayor’s race:
“I love my city. Thoughts of its future are never far from my mind, but this has been especially true in the 24 hours since Mayor Cornett’s announcement.
With the election of our next mayor now less than a year away, a sense of urgency exists.
It is critical that visionary, optimistic and unifying leadership remains the hallmark at City Hall. I am actively exploring how I may personally work to bring about that outcome, and I will be making an announcement in the coming days.”
