Vaccination Bills Face Committee Deadline This Week

Several bills dealing with how the state of Oklahoma handles vaccinations are facing the first major deadline of the Legislative session. The Tulsa World‘s Mike Averill writes various groups are trying to tighten up restrictions to be exempt from having a child immunized or trying to provide information about vaccinations before parents have their kids take the shots. Bills must move out of committee by Thursday to be considered on the House or Senate floor.
