Rainy Day Fund Use Concerns Legislative Members

Members who sit on the Senate Appropriations and Budget committee aired their concerns over the depleted funds in the state’s Rainy Day Fund. The Oklahoman’s Dale Denwalt writes because the fund has been used to provide money for day to day state operations, it is technically empty. Legally, the fund must be replenished by June 1.
