“The Flying Pig” Bill Moves Forward

An effort to make it easier to eradicate the feral hog population in Oklahoma cleared a legislative hurdle when the House passed House Bill 2324 last week. The Tulsa World‘s Kelly Bostian writes the legislation modifies law to allow hunters to fly above private property to hunt the destructive swine. Current law only allows trained and qualified individuals to hunt from the air.
