Sources are telling The McCarville Report that Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Dana Murphy is exploring the possibility of a run for the Lt. Governor’s Office in 2018.
We reached out to Murphy to confirm what sources were saying.
TMR did not get a “no.”
“I am giving thoughtful consideration to a run for Lt. Governor. I am ready and able to hit the ground running to work with the Governor, the Legislature and other state leaders to be part of collaborative solutions just as I have at the Commission. Whatever decision I make, I remain committed to this state I love so much,” Murphey said in a statement.
