House Bill 2372 didn’t get the required 3/4ths vote to pass the House to raise cigarette tax by $1.50 a pack, but the measure isn’t completely dead. House Speaker Charles McCall held a press briefing to talk about HB 2372 and the budget negotiation with the Senate.
