Auto Dealers File Suit to Stop Car Sales Tax

This Saturday, House Bill 2433 is set to go into effect. It adds a 1.25 percent sales tax on top of the current excise tax that car buyers pay. The Tulsa World‘s Barbara Hoberock writes the Oklahoma Automobile Dealers Association and others are suing to stop the Oklahoma Tax Commission from enforcing the tax.
