Some Tax Credits Left Alone During Budget Crunch

It seemed the focus on eliminating tax credits by the Legislature mainly targeted the wind industry during this year’s session. OK Energy Today reports several other tax credits were left virtually untouched by lawmakers. The story concludes hundreds of millions in tax credits are still being offered as the state faced a nearly $900 million budget gap.

    Try to understand why we grant energy companies tax credits and then allow them to sell them like its and open market. Wonder why we are in a budget crunch.
