Chambers Wins Big in Norman

The McCarville Report is first to call the special primary election in House District 46 for Darin Chambers. Chambers will face off against Democrat Joe Rosencrants in the special general election for the right to replace former Representative Scott Martin.

“Thank you to my great campaign team, all of the volunteers and supporters who worked so hard on this campaign, and special thanks to my wife and children. They sacrificed each and every day to give me this opportunity and they are the ones who truly made this victory possible.  And they are the reason why I will never stop working to make the State of Oklahoma a great place to live,” said Chambers. “But it’s not over yet. We still have a general election to win. I want to reach out to all Republicans and also to Democrats and Independents in the district. Let’s unite so we can ensure our conservative values are well represented at the Capitol for another 12 years. Thank you.”
Chambers beat Charlie Samples and Jimmy Shannon by an impressive margin. Unofficial results from the Oklahoma State Election Board show that Chambers took 57 percent of the vote.
The special general election is set for September 12.

A solid win for a solid man. I hope he does as well in the general.
