Oklahoma Water Resources Board member Tom Buchanan violated federal law when he allowed U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe and his supporters to use public land for a campaign fundraiser. The Oklahoman‘s Justin Wingerter writes the U.S. Office of Special Council ruled that Buchanan did not knowingly violate the Hatch Act and only received a written warning of the infraction.
