The conflict started by Americans United for Separation of Church and State over a cross on the Boswell Memorial Chapel on the campus of East Central University in Ada is heating up. The Ada News’ Carl Lewis writes Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter stepped in to defend ECU when Americans United demanded the cross and other religious symbols be taken off the chapel. Hunter has taken a hard stance that the organization is just causing trouble and the cross won’t be coming down.
