Inhofe Calls N. Korea Nuke Test Unacceptable

As it was revealed over the weekend that North Korea had successfully tested a hydrogen bomb, many leaders in Washington, D.C. condemned the action. U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe was among them.

“North Korea’s latest reported testing of a hydrogen bomb is an unacceptable provocation as the rogue regime continues their reckless aggression towards the United States and our allies. Today’s test—reportedly seven times stronger than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima—makes it clear that they are the most imminent threat we face,” said Inhofe.

“This most recent apparent nuclear test stresses the need for the United States to enhance and accelerate our ballistic missile defense systems and to continue to put pressure on North Korea though the diplomatic, economic, and military channels.”
