McCall Appoints Three Members to Agency Performance and Accountability Commission

House Speaker Charles McCall Thursday named his three appointees to the newly created Agency Performance and Accountability Commission.

Tim Richards, C.P.A., managing director for Triton Value Partners Southwest, will serve as the business efficiency expert. Richards has nearly 40 years of business experience in banking, public accounting, franchising and temporary service business. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Express Services and as Chief Financial Officer at First City Bank, N.A.

T.C. Burgin, C.P.A., serves as president of T.C. Burgin Certified Public Accountants in Oklahoma City and will serve as a lay member of the Commission.

Douglas Beall, M.D., serves as chief of radiology at Clinical Radiology of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City and will serve as a lay member of the Commission.

The Commission was created by House Bill 2311, which was authored by McCall. It has the mission of auditing the budgets and expenditures of every state agency at least one every four years.

The governor and Senate President Pro Tem will also name three members each. The Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall serve as an ex officio and non-voting member of the Commission.
