The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Senate Amendment to the federal budget this week. It had the support of Congressman Tom Cole, who said it makes way for tax reform.
“The passage of the Senate’s amended budget provides the necessary framework for the much-needed tax reform our nation needs. This is a critical step toward putting in place a tax system that will unleash economic growth, individual prosperity and American ingenuity. I look forward to reviewing the tax package that the House Ways and Means Committee proposes in the coming weeks, and will continue to advocate for a more balanced, fair and simplified tax code,” said Cole.
